BUILDING DIGNITY EXHIBITION is Back! The Exhibition starts on Oct. 25, and run through Nov. 3.

The exhibition venue is expanded to Nagahama district, besides former Tokyo Rope Mfg. Kokura Plant office building in Takahama district. Nagahama and its main street, the Moji-Okan-Way is a part of the major highway network established in Edo era.

This year, we provide more event programs involving more active experience of the historic buildings and districts.

今年も10月25日（土）から11月3日（月・祝）までの10日間、BUILDING DIGNITY展を開催いたします。

今年は昨年開催した吉川精密株式会社構内の旧東京製綱赤煉瓦事務所棟（高浜会場）だけでなく、門司往還沿いの旧岩松助左衛門生家跡を会場に加え、単体の歴史的建造物のみならず、参勤交代路として開かれた街道のまちなみにも目を向けていただくきっかけになればと考えています。

昨年のBUILDING DIGNITYでも、写真では全てを伝えることの出来ない作品、実際に見てみなければ理解しにくい作品を集めたつもりですが、今年のBUILDING DIGNITYは、単に展示された作品を見るというだけでなく、ワークショップやライブコンサートといった参加型のプログラムを用意しています。身体的な感覚を通して、建物や町並みへの新しい受け止め方をしていただければ幸いです。

Out first BUILDING DIGNITY Exhibition is over.

おかげさまで本日をもちまして、9日間に渡って開催いたしました、KIP（北九州インスタレーションプロジェクト）による第1回目のBUILDING DIGNITY展は終了いたしました。

Takashi Ishigaki’s performance “Flashlight Architectural Illumination” just started.

It was like a home coming day for those who had worked at Tokyo Rope Plant.
We think it is very important not only saving the building itself, but the memories shared by the community.
We are very happy to see them get together.

Artist Takashi Ishigaki will perform “Flashlight Architectural Illumination” for the closing event from 5:30pm Nov. 24.
Come and join to take a look at the building with illumination.

前日からは新日鉄住金の煙突のライトアップも始まります。普段は見られない夜の赤煉瓦建築との共演をぜひ見にいらしてください。

The BUILDING DIGNITY Exhibition has opened this morning.
We had much more visitors than we expected, thanks for your support.

The building is now open to the pubic 10am to 6pm everyday until the exhibition closed on November 24.

The days are getting shorter and shorter. The building and the site will be open until 6pm during the coming exhibition.
Experience the golden hour!

The building seems to be back to life little by little.

We did not see drastic change like we experienced in the first day….
But it was even more laborious task.
