百年前の建物にふさわしい、掃除の光景でした。
百年分の埃、ではありませんが、積もった埃や鳥の糞を取り除いて、かつての威厳を感じられるようになってきました。

建築の美しさを取り戻す代償として、全身埃まみれになって掃除をしてくれた6人の心意気に感謝。
君たちこそ今回のプロジェクトで最大の拍手を受けるべき人達です。

We are pleased to announce the BUILDING DIGNITY Exhibition has been officially approved by the building owner, Yoshikawa Kogyo Co., Ltd.

The exhibition is going to utilize a 100-year-old masonry brick building, a former Tokyo Rope Mfg. Kokura Plant office in Takahama, Kitakyushu.

The building will be open to the public for the first time in 100 years from November 16 to 24, 2013.サイトの公開に先立ちまして、展覧会の開催候補地としていた赤煉瓦建築の所有者である吉川工業株式会社様より、展覧会の開催と建物の一般公開について、ご承認いただきました。

BUILDING DIGNITYの第一回目の展覧会は、北九州市高浜の吉川精密株式会社構内にある、旧東京製綱小倉工場の赤煉瓦事務所棟にて開催いたします。
明治時代末期に建てられて以来、一般公開は初めてとなります。

開催期間も11月16日からの9日間に確定いたしましたので、あわせてご報告します。
